Water, too much, too little...

I was looking at all of the flowers in my yard now and how beautiful they are.  Without water they would die. Yet, this past week with the flood waters descending upon us I realized that with water we can die. The simple balance of water decides whether we will have life, or we will lose life.  Nature insists on balance. Everything we do requires balance. It's taken me some time to actually try to live that way.  I always understood it, but I've always wanted just "a little bit more" and that gets me into trouble!!
